Taarihi wuhiya ni SUA nyɛla din daa piligi yuuni 1965 din daa niŋ daa niŋ ka di daa piligi ka nyɛ bɔhimbu yaɣili zaŋ n-ti University of East Africa. Din daa niŋ ka bɛ yi din ni yuuni 1970, Tanzanian pukparilim bɔhimbu shikuru nyɛla din daa gbaai saawara ni University of Dar es Salaam. Di daa leei university din zani di gama yuuni 1984.

SUA nhyɛla din mali "campus" nima anu ka di mali collagɛ nima anu mini shikuruti dibaa ayi. Di nyɛla din tiri bachelor's, master's, n-ti pahi PhDs bɔhimbu yaɣa ni.

Introduction

Sokoine University of Agriculture nyɛla din daa zali di gama silimiin goli July dahin yini dali yuuni 1984 Parliamentary Act No. 6 zaŋ n-ti yuuni 1984. Saha ŋɔ University maa nyɛla din be Universities Act No. 7 zaŋ n-ti 2005 mini SUA Charter mini zalikpana yuuni 2007 sulinsi ni.

Taarihi

University maa nyɛla din daa pilli yuuni 1965 tiŋ yuli booni Morogoro, ni ka di daa pilli ka nyɛ agriculture college. Din daa niŋ ka bɛ kpihim East African Community yuuni 1970 nyaaŋa, University of East Africa din mali university zaɣ'yini koŋko gba nyɛla bɛ ni daa kpihim shɛli. Government of Tanzania daa gari tooni ka bɛ daa piligi Faculty of Agriculture University of Dar es Salaam. Sokoine Agriculture College daa nyɛla din daa na be University of Dar es Salaam sulinsi ni ka daa nyɛ din tiri Bachelors of Science in Agriculture.

Neesim nyɛla din daa kana Faculty of Agriculture; yuuni 1974, bɛ daa piligi Division of Forestry ka daa piligi division of veterinary science mi yuuni 1976. Din bɔŋɔ zjuɣu daa chɛ ka bɛ daa taɣi "faculty" maa yuli kpalim booni li "Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Sciences".

Campuses

The University has five campuses, namely:

• Edward Moringe Campus (2,376 ha) in Morogoro
• Solomon Mahlangu Campus (1,050 ha), also in Morogoro
• Olmotonyi Campus (840 ha) in Arusha
• Mazumbai Campus (320 ha) in Tanga Region
• Mizengo Pinda Campus in Katavi Region (64 ha)
• and Tunduru Campus (509 ha) in Ruvuma Region.
