Federal College of Education (Technical), Umunze nyɛla bɛ ni daa pilli shɛli tam Decree No. 4 silimiin goli March biɛɣ'pinaanahi yuuni 1986 ka daa piligi shikuru bihi kpaɣibu silimiin goli November yuuni 1989.[4] Igwe zaŋ n-ti Umunze, Mathias Ugochukwu mini Igwe zaŋ n-ti Azia, Prof. T. I. Eze n-daa nyɛ ban daa nyɛ "pioneers" zaŋ n-ti collagɛ ŋɔ. Prof. T. I. Eze n-daa nyɛ tuuli Provost zaŋ n-ti collagɛ ŋɔ.
