This template (specifically, {{User:EnterpriseyBot/defcon}}, which this template transcludes) is updated every hour by EnterpriseyBot. Previously, the template was updated by DefconBot (via {{User:DefconBot/defcon}}) and VoxelBot. However, if the bots are down, human editors are required to update the template.

IMPORTANT: Before updating this template, please check its revision history to see if the pages have been updated recently. If the bots are running properly, please do not edit this template; bots are more efficient than humans.

Note: You must be confirmed (automatically or manually) to do this.
Note: This must be done in the source editor.

To manually edit the template:

1. Go to User:EnterpriseyBot/defcon.

Note: Enterprisey's tool does not work.

2. Change |level with respective level according to current RPM stats from either Huggle, Enterprisey's tool or RedWarn tools. The RPM to Level is shown in the #Levels table below.

3. Change |sign with ~~~~~

4. Change the number in |info with the current RPM stats from either Huggle, Enterprisey's tool or RedWarn tools

Note: Please don't touch the other parameters because it will affect how the template is displayed.

Instructions for manually updating the template when the bot is giving inaccurate stats

Note: If the bot is giving inaccurate stats, go to the operator's talk page and report the inaccuracies first before updating manually.

To manually edit the template, change the |level, |sign, and |info parameters to |level = {{WikiDefcon/levels|REVERT PER MINUTE}} |sign = ~~~~~ |info = REVERT PER MINUTE stats according to [[User:YOUR USERNAME|YOUR USERNAME]]. The revert per minute stats can come from either Huggle or Enterprisey's tool. Please don't touch the other parameters because it will affect how the template is displayed.

For instance:

|level = {{WikiDefcon/levels| 10 }} means 10 reverts per minute

Parameters

align: {{Vandalism information|align=left, center, or right}} will align the template (if it supports it) to the left, center, or right.

name: {{Vandalism information|name=Your username here}} will change the bot name to your username.
