[mali niŋ | mali mi di yibu sheena n-niŋ]In November 2014, the United Nations General Assembly decided to establish a forum as a consultative mechanism to ensure the inclusive participation of member states, UN funds and programs, specialized agencies, civil society organizations representing Afro-descendants, and other stakeholders. This decision was made within the framework of the Program of Activities for the Implementation of the International Decade for People of African Descent, as outlined in resolution A/RES/69/16.[1][2]
