English: St. James' Church, Nunburnholme, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
This shows the church of St. James, which dates from Norman times but was restored in 1872. The tower, designed by Temple Moore, dates from 1902 and was dedicated as a memorial to the Rev. Francis Orpen Morris, rector from 1854 to 1893. A keen historian and ornithologist, he wrote many books on the nobility of Great Britain and Ireland and also several volumes on birds and was responsible for starting the movement for the protection of birds.
