The grounds of the Church of St John the Baptist in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. The Church is in the Diocese of Worcester, and is part of the Church of England. From C12 but predominantly Cl4-C15. Large sandstone church with fine west tower and spire mostly perpendicular with panelled parapet. Perpendicular aisle windows, battlements, pinnacles and embattled clerestorey. Inside the four bay arcade is perpendicular and carved timber roof to nave. Very fine C13 and early C16 alabaster monuments in north chapel and alabaster effigy of 1517 in chancel. Restored l858. The Council Offices, Church of St John's, The Lych Gate and No 12 form a group
