Buɣisibu Forbes's Plover is a relatively uncommon intra-African migrant through west and central Africa. Slightly larger than Three-banded Plover, with a dark (not white) forehead. Photographed at the Dzanga Bai in the Dzangha Sangha Special Reserve; a protected reserve in southwestern Central African Republic established in 1990 and covers 6865.54 km². The Dzanga Bai is a large clearing in the rainforest where between 50 and 150 Forest Elephants gather every day to drink at mineral-rich springs.
