BuɣisibuAstra taxis everywhere (15326936316).jpg
By quite a long way, these Opel Astras, along with the previous generation Kadett are the most common taxis in Ghana- you see them absolutely everywhere. All of them are of course completely knackered from decades of use in Europe, before being shipped to the harsh conditions of Ghana. Note the silver car just stopping in the middle of the road, as you do there! Also note the traditionally dressed women- this was taken in the Northern Ghanaian city of Tamale, where the population is predominantly Muslim and people dress more conservatively. You can just about see two more Astras driving on the other side of the road.
