English: Arwenack Manor House, Arwenack Street, Falmouth. Historic seat of the Killigrew family, "the family that made Falmouth", several of whom were Governors of Pendennis Castle from the 16th century onwards."Much of the original building was destroyed during the Civil War when it became the headquarters of the Roundhead army besieging Pendennis Castle and was eventually rebuilt in 1786. The estate subsequently fell into disrepair and fell victim to a fire at the manor end, but was restored in the 1980s. Arwenack House is now divided into five flats and the Manor is one home".[1].
