The Dagomba Commons Project is a cultural preservation initiative that supports the digitization and open licensing of Dagomba heritage including artifacts, festivals, and more for free and global access via Wikimedia Commons.

  • Digitize and openly license 20–30 cultural heritage items
  • Train 15–20 community members in a one-day digitization workshop
  • Upload content to Wikimedia Commons
  • Add the documented photos to their respective Wikidata items and articles on the Dagbani Wikipedia
