== Usage ==
All fields are optional and should only be used when necessary and where their use would not lead to misleading over-simplification. The addition of the infobox to an article will automatically italicise the article title per {{tl|italic title}}.

Generally: If a parameter has multiple values, such as more than one librettist (as in example 2 below), more than one basis, use {{tl|flatlist}} or {{tl|plainlist}}.

: This can be used for listing other operas by the same composer and their premiere dates in a collapsible list.
